CORK PHILOSOPHY: CONNECTING TRADITION WITH INNOVATION

Tradition
In Sardinia, Cork oak are protected as a cultural heritage: this natural resource has been harvested since Roman times. Most of the Italian cork production is concentrated on the island and our cork comes from the area of Calangianus.

Quality and Sustainability
Cork is harvested without damaging the cork oak. The process helps the tree to breathe and enables it to produce more cork for the next generations. Cork is a light, compact and resistant material, almost imperishable. Its exceptional properties guarantee durable and sustainable furniture.

Innovation & Connectivity
Cork is usually related with wine stoppers and audio insulation – wine and music, two of the things we love! -, but its applications can be various. It is an extremely versatile resource that can be used for shoes, accessories, sport equipment and, at OddoSway, also for furniture.

Following the Cork Philosophy means bringing innovation in the furniture sector with quality and sustainability, while drawing from our unfading tradition.

Beside cork, we create sustainable wooden furniture using natural materials such as poplar wood, sand, cristallo, cotton, hemp and putty.

Our processes and our finishes touches are also environmentally friendly: we use water-based paints for furniture that looks exquisite without hurting the environment.

Each piece of furniture and design that decorates it are handmade and hand painted exclusively for you. Every small difference from the original is a warranty of craftmanship and uniqueness.
