Our History
Our story starts in 2013, when Roberto Oddo took on the responsibility to reorganize the warehouse of a cultural association in his hometown in Sardinia.
It was littered with over 7000 VHS cassettes and old furniture that no one seemed to want. Going through the chaos, Roberto gathered the wooden pieces and set up to give them a new life.
He wanted to create colorful and unexpected furniture that would express a unique personality, different from all the other dull and uninspiring pieces of furniture that manufacturers still offered to the young generation of social media.
In Roberto’s vision, his creations would create an exclusive club-like atmosphere even at home and make it the center of one’s social life.
In few months, three different pieces of furniture were born: Sardinia Wine, Labyrinth Table and Lounge Bottle.
And that’s when the idea behind OddoSway was born.
We have one single objective: to create products that shape your surroundings to your tastes and help you enjoy the simple things in life.

QUALITY IS IN THE SMALL DETAILS
The idea behind our logo comes from the very first prototype of Sardinia Wine.
The little mouse appeared while Roberto Oddo was painting the interior of this unique piece of furniture. Shaped in the brush strokes made by the putty, at an angle where few could actually see it, the mouse seemed almost playing hide and seek with the Italian designer.
Exactly as Roberto was doing with Sardinia Wine, the little mouse in our logo is busy softening the edges of Sardinia.
By doing this, he creates something completely new. A new island, a new world, a new reality. The reality of OddoSway.
We love living differently, and we know that you love it to! But going over the edge could be rough sometimes.
This is why at OddoSway, we carefully smoothen by hand the edges and the angles of each piece of O-Furniture. We put our passion and love for details in our products, exactly as you would like us to do. We accurately craft by hand each side to give you a smooth but practical work of art, soft to both the eye and the hand.
